TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT  POLICIES
This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies. Kindly note that all early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability only.

2. SgHotelOnWheels (SHOW) CONDITIONS OF STAY 
The following terms and conditions will apply to all bookings. We ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking. Please pay attention to our deposit and cancellation policies as well as the other terms and conditions marked in bold in this document. In these terms and conditions, which apply to all bookings, the following words shall mean:
  • “Agreement” means your booking confirmation read together with these Terms & Conditions;
  • “Guest” means the person who will be accommodated at the Hotel;
  • “SHOW” means SgHotelOnWheels;
  • “Terms & Conditions” means the terms and conditions of stay contained herein. 
3. BOOKING PROCEDURE
Bookings must be made in advance. Pricing for accommodation will be based on availability as at the date and time of quoting. Guests will receive a booking confirmation through email once the booking has been secured via confirmed payment.
4. CHARGES, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
All bookings must be paid in full to secure the available booking dates. Please refer to Refund and Cancellation policy below. Prices quoted by SHOW are exclusive of Goods and Service Tax (7% over total price). We accept payment by credit cards and debit cards. Upon Check-In, an additional ‘holding deposit’ of $100-$150 will be held against the guest credit card/ debit card, depending on room type. The deposit will be fully refunded upon Check-Out after any adjustments for additional charges or damages incurred.
5. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY: 
Any cancellations will incur a one-off $21.40 (inclusive of gst) cancellation fee. After which, the following conditions will apply:
 
Full Refund – If cancelled more than 30 days from Check-In date
Partial Refund of 50% – If cancelled within 14 days from Check-In date
No Refund (Full Charge) – If only cancelled within 7 days from Check-In date
6. CANCELLATIONS AND NON-ARRIVALS
Cancellations to any bookings must be made in writing. The Guest shall be liable for and pay to SHOW a cancellation fee, the amount as specified by the SHOW at the time of booking confirmation. All rooms that have been confirmed will be held until 2359h on the scheduled date of arrival at which time the SHOW may re-let the room without further notice unless notified of late arrival.
7. CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Changes to any bookings must be made in writing. No amendments are guaranteed until written confirmation is provided by SHOW. Rate variations may apply, depending on the nature of the change. 
8. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICIES
Check-In: 15:00 Hrs Check-Out: 11:00 Hrs. Requests for early check-in & late check-out will be handled based on SHOW’s availability at the time of check-in (an additional fee is payable for guaranteed late check-out). SHOW can ‘provide complimentary storage of guest luggage’ in a secure location nearby until the guest room is ready. Should you need to confirm an earlier arrival than SHOW’s standard check-in time or a departure later than 11:00 Hrs, please contact SHOW directly in advance.
9. LATE CHECK-OUT FEE
A $20 fee may be chargeable to the guest account if the checkout is 30 minutes later than the scheduled check out time. A minimum fee of $100 + any additional cost of recovery for disruption to the following guests if the checkout delay is more than 2 hours.
10. CHILDREN POLICY
Due to the nature of SHOW (stand-alone “pop-up” hotel), we do not have amenities catered specifically for children. Individuals below 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Children regardless of age are still considered as Guests, therefore, Guests must adhere strictly to the occupancy limit of the rooms.  (Maximum occupancy limit for 40-footer SHOWRoom is 4A1C, 3A2C, 2A3C, or 1A4C. Maximum occupancy limit for 20-footer SHOWRoom is 2A1C). Child must be below 12yo, otherwise considered as Adult.
11. FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Some room comes with a Refrigerator or Mini Refrigerator containing drinks and packaged food items. Some of these items are available for purchase and some are complimentary. Please refer to the price list and list of complimentary items in the room for more details. Purchased items can be charged directly to the guest account and settlement can be made upon check-out.

 

Other purchasable items (eg. – from our sponsors) are also available for purchase. Please refer to the price list provided in the room. Any purchased items can be charged directly to the guest account.
12. DAMAGE TO OR REMOVAL OF SHOW PROPERTY
Guests will be responsible for any damage caused to the SHOW room or any furnishings, fittings and equipment therein by any act or omission of the Guest, his/her invitees, subcontractors or guests. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, SHOW reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest’s credit or debit card. SHOW reserves the right to charge Guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from SHOW by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item. SHOW reserves the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered/interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout SHOW, including detector heads, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or firefighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by SHOW due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave SHOW. Should the fact that fire-fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guests have departed SHOW reserves the right to make a charge to the Guest’s credit or debit card.
13. LOST PROPERTY
Any personal effects left behind by Guests or any other lost property, will be retained by SHOW for up to 1 month from the departure date. Any items not claimed will be disposed of at SHOW’s own discretion. Any perishable items left in the room will be discarded immediately as part of our cleaning and disinfection procedures upon check-out.
14. BEHAVIOUR
SHOW reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of the Guest or invitees of the Guest who must take all steps necessary for corrective action as requested by SHOW. In the event of failure to comply with management’s request, SHOW may terminate a booking or function immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation. 
15. NO DISCRIMINATION
It is the policy of SHOW not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, religion, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or physical disability and as a responsible host, we believe that we have a duty to our guests to protect them from inappropriate behaviour. The Guest, his/her employees, guests and sub-contractors engaged by or on behalf of the Guest are expected to adhere to this policy and SHOW may, without incurring any liability to the Guest, immediately remove from SHOW any person(s) offending against this policy. Should any actions by a Guest be deemed inappropriate by the Duty Manager, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Duty Manager, SHOW reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the Guest.
16. OCCUPANCY POLICY
Our 20-footer rooms are equipped with 1 standard size queen size bed which is able to accommodate up to 2 pax.
Our 40-footer rooms are equipped with 1 standard size queen size bed and a double sofa-bed (which can accommodate up to 2 people). A total of 4 pax can be accommodated in a 40-footer room.
17. DISABILITY POLICY
Our rooms are not suitable for people with physical disabilities.  
18. AVAILABILITY AND USE OF FACILITIES AND OUTSIDE SERVICES
SHOW will do its best to ensure that all facilities listed at SHOW will be available during your stay. However, we cannot guarantee that they will be available as maintenance and other work may be necessary from time to time. Prior consent of SHOW must be received if the Guest wishes to book SHOW for any business functions, meetings, parties, entertainment, photo shoots or other services which does not fall under the definition of a hotel stay. SHOW may refuse or grant its consent at its absolute discretion without being liable to the Guest for such decision. The Guest, if engaging the services of persons outside the employ of SHOW, shall indemnify SHOW against any loss of or damage to property or death or illness of or injury to any person(s) and against all claims, demands, proceedings and damages arising as a result thereto. SHOW may in its absolute discretion refuse access to any third-party service provider inappropriate circumstances. 
19. PETS POLICY
Pets are strictly not allowed in our SHOWRooms. 
20. NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking and Vaping are strictly prohibited in all our rooms. However, smoking is permitted on the designated smoking Area around the premises. Please check with the notices on site.
21. PARKING
There are 2 carparks (EHub and Begonia Carpark) available near SHOW and prevailing charges (www.downtowneast.com.sg/services/carpark-charges) are based on a per hour basis. SHOW guests are able to purchase a one-time Complimentary Parking Coupon from SHOW front office at $10.70 inclusive of gst. This parking coupon waives off all parking charges regardless of amount, but it is only available for a one-time use only. Payment is via cash cards/In-vehicle units. Please note that parking comes under a different management and SHOW is unable to reimburse any parking fees. 
22. ACCESSIBILITY
SHOW is located within 100 meters (or 1-minute walk) from Downtown East Singapore. 
23. GUARANTEE POLICY
A valid credit card guarantee, deposit or pre/full payment is required at the time of booking. MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, PayNow and other e-Wallet Payments are accepted as a guarantee. 
24. SAFETY
There are no barriers or gates around the SHOW rooms. Therefore, it is possible for people to come right up to the main doors. The doors can be locked from the inside or outside. Downtown East  (and Singapore generally), is safe and the crime rate is one of the lowest in the world. Regardless, we advise our guests to lock their doors whenever they are inside the container.

26. LIABILITY
All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or Singapore law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from this Agreement. SHOW shall have no liability to the Guest and/or the Guest’s invitees, visitors, employees, sub-contractors or invitees for any special, indirect, consequential loss or damage. Total liability shall, wherever permitted by law, be limited to the value of this Agreement. The Guest shall indemnify SHOW against any/all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from or by the booking, function, the Guest, his/her invitees, visitors or any service provider engaged by the Guest. Guests are required to lock their rooms at all times when unattended. Guests should take note that SHOW does not accept responsibility whatsoever for theft from SHOW premises or from rooms in SHOW. The Guest is advised to have and is responsible for insurance to cover loss of baggage, personal effects and money. The Guest shall be responsible for any damage caused to the rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment therein caused by or attributable to any act, omission, default or neglect of the Guest, his/her invitees, visitors or service providers engaged by the Hotel and will pay to the Hotel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage. For the purpose of this clause, acts or omissions of the guests, invitees, employees and/or subcontractors shall be deemed acts of the Guest.
27. FORCE MAJEURE
SHOW shall not be in breach of this Agreement if it does not provide the services under this Agreement, and it shall be entitled to cancel a booking if it is no longer able to provide the accommodation, due to one or more of the following circumstances:
# any part of SHOW is closed due to fire, alteration or redecoration by order of any public authority or any reason beyond the Hotel’s control; 
# there is a failure to supply SHOW with electricity or water outside of SHOW’s control;
#SHOW is unable to fulfil the booking as a result of industrial action by its staff or one of its suppliers; 
# fire, lightning, explosion, riot or civil commotion, malicious damage, storm, tempest, flood, burst pipes, or impact resulting in SHOW is unable to provide the booked facilities;
# SHOW or any part thereof is designated for alternate use. If any one of the events above occurs will do its best to avoid any inconvenience and will return any payments made. 
28. CANCELLATION BY SHOW
SHOW shall be entitled to cancel any booking immediately if a Guest is in any arrears with payment to SHOW, or if a Guest becomes insolvent or has an administrator appointed over his/her affairs, or if Guest breaches any of the other of these Terms and Conditions.
29. GENERAL
SHOW reserves the right to deduct any sums owed to it by the Guest and the exercise of such right shall be without prejudice to any other rights which SHOW may have in terms of this Agreement or in law. The Agreement will be construed in accordance with Singapore law and the Guest agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts. Any notice or invoice hereunder shall be duly served one either party if delivered to their last known address. No variation of this Agreement shall be valid unless it is in writing and signed by, or on behalf of, each of the parties. Failure to exercise, or any delay in exercising, any right or remedy provided under this Agreement by law to SHOW shall not constitute a waiver of that (or any other) right or remedy, nor shall it precluded or restrict any further exercise of that (or any other) right or remedy. In the event that a Guest has a complaint during his/her stay at the Hotel, he/she must bring it to the attention of SHOW management as soon as possible to allow SHOW the opportunity to address the issue during your stay.
